In this chapter, in-depth discussion of institutionalized racism typical of the period, discussions of homophobia, and ableism`- specifically in this chapter there’s a scene where one NT guy roughly explains ADHD to another, and his explanation is accepting, but extremely blunt and couched in language that’s not especially kind.

That night, Gerald slept against the barrel chest of Second Lieutenant Jack Wicks, and found that he let out such stupendous heat he might as well have been a furnace.
