How long have you been writing for?

About ten years.

I first started writing semi regularly in about 2011 or 2012, at the age of ~14, and over the next years I wrote more and more, to the point that I was averaging about 500k written per year every year since then.

This has oscillated between different years, depending on what work I was doing, how tiring it was, how my mental health was doing, but that’s been the baseline.

Many people might not consider this as “real” writing because it was broadly fanfiction and was therefore published for the most part on a non-professional basis, but what people fail to realise is that:
